Isabel was engaged in drama from the time she was in school. She studied Drama at the Queensland Institute of Technology in the last few years, also, she was trained in the Perdekamp Emotional Method. Prior to 2002, she had never auditioned. She was featured in Home and Away, 1988. They thought she was not right for the role, however they were impressed enough to create an entirely new role for Tasha. In the three-year period she worked as a TV actress and model, she won an award called the Logie Award. Isabel relocated her home to Los Angeles, California in 2008. She broke through in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, (2009). In the years since she has appeared in and been awarded in many US productions, as and Australian ones. Isabel has recently starred in Bosh & Rockit, a movie that's fast becoming a classic in Australia. She also acted in the upcoming film Lunacy. Isabel recently wrapped Sons of Summer.
